FAQ

General Notes

• Documents needed for renting vehicle: drivers license and document for identification / passport.
• Renting must be minimum one day (24 hours).
• The vehicles are insured of third party liability.
• In case of accident, according to the insurance, we will charge not more then the amount of the franchise.
• Driver’s license must be at least two years old.
• The driver must be at least 21 years old for ECMR, EDMR, CDMR and CCMR classes and at least 25 years old for ICMR, FFMR and FVMR classes.
• Weekend tariff is valid from Friday 12:00 till Monday 09:00.
• The vehicle is rented and must be returned with full tank fuel.
  

Age Requirement

• The primary renter of the vehicle must be 21 years of age.
• Additional drivers must meet the same eligibility requirements as the Primary driver
• All drivers must show a valid driver's license at time of rental.
• National Car Macedonia reserves the right to refuse rental of a vehicle if the renter demonstrates inability to handle road rules and conditions.
• 18 years of age is the minimum for military or government personnel traveling on official.

Mechanical Problems and Accidents

You must notify National Car Rental Macedonia within 24 hours of the accident, and you will likely be required to complete an accident report for National Car Rental's records and your own.

This report is for both parties' protection, and is particularly important if you have purchased a waiver of damage.

Be aware that statements you make may be made a permanent part of the accident report. Remember to be truthful and accurate as your statements may be used in legal claims. Once you complete the accident report, you should be able to continue your trip. Be sure to save all original receipts stating the reason for purchase of parts or labor, and the amounts.

Credit Cards Renter must present an acceptable credit card, with available credit, in their own name, at the time of rental. Credit Cards honored:

Reservation

A reservation is confirmation of a vehicle which is reserved for a customer at a particular location, on a specified date, at an agreed upon base rate price plus taxes, surcharges and fees. Taxes, surcharges and fees are subject to change. Modifications to a reservation could result in a change in rate.

Vehicles are reserved by rate code and vehicle category.
